It is almost certain that the new President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce will be veteran producer and distributor BN Gangadhar. It is the distributor term to head the prime post and BN Gangadhar has been selected by most of the KFCC members considering his service to the industry. The elections to KFCC new incumbents will be held on May 8, 2010.

It is under the new bylaws set in by the sitting President Dr Jayamala of KFCC the elections will be held. According to it there will be fresh elected bodies who have not contested in the past.

BN Gangadhar began his career as Tamil films distributor for 11 years. He became producer from Kannada film ‘Jiddu’ in 1983. A soft spoken do good nature Gandadhar is also the owner of estate. He has editing studio of his own. He was vice president of KFCC in the past. The last film he produced by ‘Yaarge Salathe Sambala’.
